Crates vs Cardboard

 

  • EZ Move’s Crates are more durable than cardboard so you’ll be able to pack more in the bins without worrying about the bottom falling out. This means you’ll need less bins.
  • EZ Move’s Crates are delivered to you ready to be packed the moment they arrive saving you hours of valuable time.
  • EZ Move’s Crates have attached lids which means you won’t need to spend extra money on packing tape. Our bins don’t need tape.
  • EZ Move’s Crates neatly stack on top of another making it easy for movers to wheel them in and out of your home or into a moving truck. With movers charging an average of $50/hr per mover, even shaving one hour off the total move time will save you a significant amount of money. Our Crates pay for themselves!!

 

The boxes maybe free but you do not know what has been in there before. Cardboard can trap dirt, bed bugs, pet dander, chemicals or bacteria that you do not want to transfer onto your clothes, linens, or kitchen items! 

And do you really want to spend a full day to hassle with finding, picking-up and building boxes before packing your whole life into boxes and moving to your new place? Collecting cardboard boxes is not as easy at it sounds. Either your going to be dumpster diving in the back of grocery stores or driving to the home of a stranger you found on Marketplace. Then once you have finished with your boxes you’ll need to dispose of them.

Questions Before Booking

We do offer rentals from 1 week up to 6 weeks.  If you are needing them longer we would be glad to discuss this with you. Feel free to email us!

Our Crates should NOT be carried out of state. Our contracts only cover rentals in our service area.

Strength: Can hold up to 66 pounds of stuff 

Our Cancellation Policy is that we only offer refunds if cancelled more than 48 hours of your rental period. Please read our Rental Agreement for the full policy.

Sorry, our crates are for rental use only.

We need at least 24 hrs notice to have your order filled.

Have you looked at our package pages?  We have an automated system that will give you an estimated number of crates based of your house size.  Although we can’t guarantee it’s exactly correct it’s a great number to start with.

When booking your order through our website, you’ll enter your credit card details on our secure checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for payment.

Ok I booked it... Now what?

After you checked out you should have received an email and also a text message. The link to pay your security deposit and set up your appointment is included in there. If for some reason you did not receive one after checkout please email/text us. 

If you are still unpacking and realize you need more time please call us asap so we can extend your rental period.   

If you are packing up and realize you didn’t rent enough crates please let us know. If we have the inventory on hand we will gladly check you out and get those to you as soon as possible.

No assembly is required for the crates.  They also conveniently stack inside each other to take up less space. 

I’m a fan of minimizing! Try starting weeks before your move to donate items you aren’t using. If you don’t use it get rid of it.  If you get rid of it before the move that’s less you have to pack.
