Which is cheaper? Cardboard or Crates?
- EZ Move’s Crates are more durable than cardboard so you’ll be able to pack more in the bins without worrying about the bottom falling out. This means you’ll need less bins.
- EZ Move’s Crates are delivered to you ready to be packed the moment they arrive saving you hours of valuable time.
- EZ Move’s Crates have attached lids which means you won’t need to spend extra money on packing tape. Our bins don’t need tape.
- EZ Move’s Crates neatly stack on top of another making it easy for movers to wheel them in and out of your home or into a moving truck. With movers charging an average of $50/hr per mover, even shaving one hour off the total move time will save you a significant amount of money. Our Crates pay for themselves!!
Is there a long-term rental option?
Absolutely! We rent from 1 week up to 6 weeks — and if you need them longer, let’s chat. We’re always happy to make it work. Just drop us an email and we’ll get you rolling (literally).
How big are these crates?
Big enough to fit your stuff, small enough to fit through the door!
Outside: 27”L × 17”W × 13”H

Weight: 8 lbs — but tough enough to hold up to 66 lbs of your stuff
Is there a cancellation policy? Yes!
We’re happy to offer a refund if your rental is canceled more than 48 hours before your scheduled start date. For all the details, please check out our full Rental Agreement.
Can I travel out of state?
Our Crates should NOT be carried out of state. Our contracts only cover rentals in our service area.
Can I buy these crates from you?
Sorry, our crates are for rental use only.
How much notice do you need prior to booking?
We need at least 24 hrs notice to have your order filled.
How many crates will I need?
View our “Estimator”. We have a calculator that will give you an estimated number of crates based of your house size. Although we can’t guarantee it’s exactly correct it’s a great number to start with.
How does payment for my order work?
When booking your order through our website, you’ll enter your credit card details on our secure checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for payment.
How do I book my appointment time?
The booking and appointment times are selected at checkout.
What if I need more time?
If you are still unpacking and realize you need more time please email us asap so we can extend your rental period. info@ezmovecraterentals.com
What if I did not order enough?
If you are packing up and realize you didn’t rent enough crates please let us know. If we have the inventory on hand we will gladly check you out and get those to you as soon as possible. info@ezmovecraterentals.com
What assembly is required?
No assembly is required for the crates. They also conveniently stack inside each other to take up less space.
What are some packing tips?
I’m a fan of minimizing! Try starting weeks before your move to donate items you aren’t using. If you don’t use it get rid of it. If you get rid of it before the move that’s less you have to pack.
What areas do you service?
Our FREE service radius is 25 miles from our home office in Moselle. We do service up to 40 miles with a travel fee. For more information and to see if we can help you just message us!
